I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

I measured three of these loads which all were loaded 9-21-2007:
45-90 Winchester 1885 Limited Series, 320 gr HP cast, 9 ½ M, 59 grains H4831, 1.91 MOA 45-90 Winchester 1885 Limited Series, 420 gr FNGC, 9 ½ M, 58 grains H4831, 1.67 MOA 45-90 Winchester 1885 Limited Series, 536.5 gr R, WLP, 69.2 grains GOEX FFg, 2.39 MOA
I ordered another mold for it 535 grain RN - NOE
I had trouble chambering the BP loads, so I'm pulling the bullets on them. I noticed the inside of the brass is green where the bullet was the lube was white grease. the brass is Starline.
I didn't realize that it had been so long since I had it out. I'll remedy that.

Way cool. I wish my eyesight was good enough to shoot something like that.

Very Nice! Bud back in the day with one, wonder what this rifle can handle, i said, bigger question is what can your shoulder handle, he smirked, but cut that chit out when 500gr Hornady solids read 2250 fps on the chrono

That’s good shooting for open sights.
If I’m not mistaken your rifle is a limited release Win 1885 BPCR rifle factory fitted with a Badger cut rifle barrel.

My brother had one, we bought them at the same time. One serial number apart. He attended BPCR matches in MT annually, I was too busy making money so my practice wife could give it away. He pressure tested his. Maybe 95% of full blown 458 Win Mag load - no issue with the rifle.
Mine hasn’t been shot much and only with low pressure loads. Not even full power 45-90 loads. Just gentle pure lead cast loads. Those H4831 loads travel approximately 1,300 FPS.
