It is that time of year when you get covered with horse/mule hair.

Here is a dandy shedding comb that works better than anything you can buy.

Cut from an old hand saw blade using a cutting disk and a hand grinder. Teeth section is about 12"long with a smaller section on each end for tangs about 4" long for handles. Cut two pieces of old broom stick in half long ways about 4"" long and glue the tangs in with body putty.

I agree, those work great. Much better than the typical shedding blade bought at the the feed store.

I need to get after them w the shedding blade. There was a Raven on one horse’s back yesterday collecting underfur.
