Looking at upgrading to the Sinclair hand priming tool. Brownell's shows two different types of shell holders. One is around $8 and looks like a Lee priming tool shell holder. The other is $20 and is a "tall boy". Which do I need? Don't really want to spend $60 for three shell holders.

The universal shell holder head accepts Lee autoprime shellholders. The Sinclair shellholders are proprietary, no Allen screw to tighten. I got the latter because only needed two shellholders for what I'm doing.

FWIW, I have the Sinclair and use the $8 inserts with the universal shell holder head.

I spent the coin on two of the "deluxe" s/h's - Belted Mag and .308/.30-06, plus the Universal. The Lee shell holders (which can be used in the Universal) I've used in the past are complete dog crap. Luckily I don't have to fret a Ulysses Grant (e.g. buy once - cry once)
