I think McMillan says it's a no no. Edge fill and a rem 700 in 375. Pillar and glass bedded. What does the fire think?

I'd tend to listen to McMillan personally. No sense getting an overly light 375 either, very few could shoot it reasonably.

My 375 is in a bansner that’s very similar to my McM Edge stocks and it’s been fine

I have a Hunters Edge M70 375H&H. No problem. Mine weights 8# to 8.5# depending on scope. No problem thus far and not expecting any. However mine is perfectly bedded with substantial alloy pillars.

That rifle has taken around 13 Cape buffalo. Great outfit.
