I ran into the same problem not being able to get the Scenars ordered a box of the Berger to try in my 300 H&H

I walk around like I'm ok, but deep down inside, I wanna buy another gun.

I had good luck with Berger 155 gr "HUNTING" bullets. At least accuracy wise, never shot any game with them. It is my understanding that those are pretty forgiving to load. I did pick up 100 155.5 gr Full Bore Target bullets a while back. Bought them mostly because I found them at a good price and can use them for range plinking if nothing else.

I haven't gotten around to loading any yet, but supposedly those can be sensitive to seating depth.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the Fullbores. I have found them to be very forgiving to seating depth and have worn out a .308 target barrel using them without needing depth adjustments along the way.
