From what my customers are telling me and watching our sales, retail seems to be slowing down pretty dramatically. No surprise there, it's been pretty fascinating watching the consumer just keep on keeping on.

Now the new jobs report has slowed down, after a downward revision of last month's numbers. Not a trend yet, but, well, hmmmmm

What they report is not what I see in our area. We can’t beg, borrow or steal machinists or unskilled labor. It’s been like this for years. If your Rent working, you don’t want too.

I don't know the wage scale. Its not a perfect place buy no place is. We are a climate controlled shop, no sweating going on here. Many of our parts hold ± tenths. Lots of overtime to be had.
