Not nickel related...But Talked to my friend last night. They have a change sorter and counter at work. They were looking at the rejected change. She found a penny with heads stamped on both sides. I believe she said it was dated 1994.
Said she could see no indications that someone sliced pennies in half and joined them back together. What say you all? I have not seen the penny.

Yeah, that's the best one I have.
When I was a kid, it wasn't unusual at all to get them in change, along with the occasional Indian Head Penny.

I’ve been collecting coins since I was 9. I have the complete collection of Buffalo nickels. Those and Mercury dimes were the first 2 coins I finished collecting. Still working on the Standing Liberty quarters and walking liberty halves.
A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
