Any clue what a charger costs or is that tossed in on the purchase price with an EV? The charger is in the car, for home use anyway. You simply plug into current and the car recognizes the capability and proceeds. You can be hooked to 15a 120v and the car charges, slowly. Tap into a 30amp 220v dryer circuit and it charges much faster. Tap a 50 amp circuit… Run a dedicated 100amp line and you are high rolling. Might be make dependent, but that’s the info I get.

I wired up my brother's charging station for his Tesla. 240 volt, we bought a dryer receptacle and the wire and breaker at Lowes. Cost about $200, took me about 2 hours. He gets 21 miles in one hour of charging, so in 10 hours he gets 210 miles, which is a full charge. He says it costs about half of what a comparible amount of gasoline would cost.
You can charge a Tesla on 120, no problem, but it is very slow. Only 5 miles of travel per hour of charging.

Maybe I'm just naïve, but I don't think the push for EV's is some de-population-put us all in 15 minute cities for mass control of the populace conspiracy.
I think the lefties are just truly dumb and that they think EV's are actually beneficial and never look at the cradle to grave costs and environmental effects of their production.
Edit to add, and forgot about all the 10% to the big guy kick backs involved.

And there is the issue of electric vehicles not paying any road use taxes. That is built in to the price of gas, but the EVs skate.

And there is the issue of electric vehicles not paying any road use taxes. That is built in to the price of gas, but the EVs skate. That is not being overlooked any longer. Most states are charging an annual EV registration fee and some states like Georgia are proposing a kilowatt-hour fee. Lawmakers’ proposed rates of 3.47 cents per kilowatt hour would be the highest so far, and Georgia EV owners already pay the second highest annual fee. TANSTAFL MF'ers.

The big 3 tested the carb that ran on fumes alone in the 30s I believe it was. Ford got well over 200 mpg. Its not magic, its real. Dont be know it all asses who know nothing It would then be a false claim that starting in 1973 with the oil embargo, that any of the big three in Detroit would have cornered the market and made $billions with a car which got better than twice the mileage of the competitors? How fast did this 200 mpg vehicle travel? 3 MPH? It takes energy to push air out of the way. There is only so much energy stored in a gallon of gas, if you could build a 100% efficient ICE.

The logical argument. The big 3 sat on 200mpg and didn't use it to seize the market. Billions spent on lightweight components, aerodynamics, more efficient engines, transmissions.... When all they had to do was put on a carb from a lawnmower. Lincoln and Mercury, Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Sat back, allowed themselves to be swallowed, instead of putting that little carb on their 4000# sleds and giving customers 200mpg. It makes total sense.

Okay, I forced myself to watch the first 25 minutes of that BS. Well, the first five minutes was a discussion of which porn was preferred by a talking goldfish. Zero Point machines to produce energy from nothing, IC engines which produce more energy than they consume, engines which produce Hydrogen form water then burn the Hydrogen for a surplus in energy. I could not stand the BS long enough to wait for him to get to the anti-gravity device. The laws of thermodynamics are not really laws. Hell, they are not even valid suggestions. Best of all, the US Government and our military owns all this tech. Yet they still depend on traditional IC engines to power jeeps, trucks, tanks, cargo aircraft, and fighter jets. All of which are still dependent upon crude oil, when supposedly the military owns the tech to move far beyond that. Surely an independence from traditional fuels would be of significant benefit on the battlefield! Next you will be telling us that covid vaccines contain coded data which can be recorded and transmitted from outer space, and they leave the recipient magnetic to stainless steel flatware.

Is it that difficult for them to make one that utilizes a charger that plugs into a 110v wall outlet? It's simple physics. A 20A 110 outlet can put out a maximum of about 2400 watts. You simply can't stuff any more juice through it or it blows a breaker...or overheats and starts a fire. No charger can suck more watts through the outlet than the 2400 watts. Now look at how many watts/hour it takes to charge an EV. Wiggle some numbers around and you get the number of hours it would take. You'd need 2 cars so you can drive one while the other's charging.

Along with Secretaries of each branch. Hell we could do away with nuke reactors in the aircraft carriers and subs. Just suck the energy they need from the "aether". Imagine how stealthy the subs would be with no pumps or cooling systems.

Electric chit cars do more damage to the planet than regular gas cars. Fact. We have the answers to all our energy problems. If anyone watched the video I posted a week or so ago, its in there. We have invented carbs that run off of fumes and get over 200 mpg. That was in the 1940s. They invented a machine that pulls energy from the air basically and outputs 1000s of watts of power. Free energy. The problem is, when someone invents one of these, they ALWAYS wind up dead and the patent ends up in possession of the US gov and is sealed from the public. Cool country we live in, huh?

Well put. If charging on 110, you would need 2 cars.
