The reason this vote is possible now after years of debate is, many traditional Methodist congregations have left the UMC organization. The majority left are the Leftists.

The reason this vote is possible now after years of debate is, many traditional Methodist congregations have left the UMC organization. The majority left are the Leftists. For YEARS the issue came up for vote at our worldwide Annual Conference. The African United Methodist delegates continuously saved our bacon every year, staunchly voting against the gay , LGBTUWXYZ issue. It has been noted that the UMC purposely mailed out invitations to the African continent this year late. Returned confirmations were noted as being received late, and they were told they'd be turned away at the door if they showed up. My old denomination is going to hell in a handbasket.

I wanna say the split off group calls themselves Free Methodist now but don't hold me to it. anyways the old Methodist church is vindictive as hell to anyone that wants to split off , especially with property and such really bad people running it claiming they are children of God
