Has anyone ever installed/used one? The drain plug on my rzr is stripped, ordered the set and I am taking it to the shop in the morning. Not saying they stripped it, but I've never touched that plug so I damn sure didn't strip it. They are installing it and doing the oil change for free labor, but I am going to buy them all lunch and provided the kit as well as the oil change kit. Guys on the RZR forum suggested this over the Heli coil hands down, they say one the advantages is you can use red Loctite on the application, and it is far more permanent than the Heli coil.

TimeSerts are my first choice over helicoils. If properly installed, they are a permanent repair. I've done 10's if not 100's in my shop, usually after the car has been to a quicklube joint for it's oil change. It is critical that it is installed absolutely perpendicular to the sealing surface. Have seen a couple that were not, and the crush seal was unable to seal because of the angle of the installation.
Make sure there's enough metal around the drain hole to support the TimeSert though.
