If you were considering buying one of these stocks, Stockey's is also offering them on eBay and on eBay they are accepting offers for less than their $299 asking price. Why pay $299 if they will sell you the same stock for a discount? I made a $250 offer that was accepted, a 16% discount off the asking price. Not a lot, but $50 saved is $50 saved.

If you haven't handled one of these stocks, they are really light and when installed on a Howa 1500 barreled action they turn them into a whole different feeling rifle. The difference is enough to prompt a "Wow!" from most folks. The stock swap didn't make the Howa as light as a Kimber Hunter, but it made it a lot closer weight wise.
