No affiliation but one you don’t see everyday. Priced like the KS it isn’t. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1049190661

AK, What are the “tells” that give it away as not being a KS? The warning on the barrel?

AK, What are the “tells” that give it away as not being a KS? The warning on the barrel? That and chambering marking; lack of cheekpiece; squared pg; barrel length/contour; presence of (previous) sights. Supposedly some of the super early ks had squared pg also (rather than the distinctive round knob) but they had a cheekpiece.

+1 It's an "FS" Model Seven with a Brown Precision stock. The rifles were offered in a CAMO or grey stock as stated with factory sights and pistol gripped butt stocks. The KS had no sights a 20" barrel and the kevlar grey stock. It should sell for a slight premium over a straight Model Seven but not at "KS" Custom pricing. The FS that started my research, it too as advertised as a "KS":

^ nice rifle. 👍
Have to be careful with the color. Both could be had with camo OR gray during the Brown years (all FS were Brown).

Very cool. Probably old photos since Brown had long since been replaced by McMillan as OEM by ‘93.

A little bit off subject, but were the AS stocks that came a bit later heavier than the FS stocks on the M700?

When did Remington advertised Arylon stocks made by Six Enterprises for the Model 7?
I have a couple of the stocks for Model 700s, but don't know that I've ever seen one for a Model 7.
