Was looking through some pics and found one of some 22's that I haven't shot in a long time. Enjoy shooting and sharing them. Gonna have to remedy that this summer...grin...

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Im not sure if I ever shot my MK 1, purchased last year. It has been a while for the 18, wife claimed it. Your 18 looks in better condition than mine. Great set of 22’s there. My 17 chambers were so tight after a few cylinders were shot, I could barely eject the empties. It was a accurate revolver.

My forgotten one is my old Remington 581, languishing in the cabinet whilst I play with newer, and honestly better stuff. Need to remedy that and give it an honest chance with some better ammo than it’s had before.
What fresh Hell is this?

Thanks for the reminder! I have a Model 17 that I don’t shoot enough. I looked at the receipt. I paid $81 for it in the late ‘50’s when I was in high school. I did use it a year ago to rehabilitate a few wild pigs in my Pig Brig trap. Mostly I did that with a Ruger 10/22, but I wanted to use the S&W as well, just because.

It is always fun to shoot the old ones. Pistolas and rifles .....brings back a lot of memories. Riding thru town with the .22 across the handlebars.Shooting rats at the dump.
Shooting baby - food jars outta the air.
