Pray tell, what is a good reason for male genital mutilation? I know female genital mutilation is abhorred in the West, but why is male genital mutilation allowed? Why is it allowed for one sex but not the other, Aren't we 'equal'?

I was circumcised when I was born, and I couldn't walk for almost a year. Well played! I wasn't circed at birth, and couldn't walk for about year, finally my legs grew long enough and then I could.....

Pray tell, what is a good reason for male genital mutilation? Didn't God tell Moses that instead of the Jews having to sacrifice their children to prove how much they loved Him, they'd have to be circumscribed? Later, Paul told the Gentiles he'd talked with Jesus and Jesus said the Gentile males could be good Christians without having to cut off a part of their dicks. That gathered in a lot of Gentile males for furthering christian conversions. Can't blame the Gentile men for not wanting to go under a rusty, dull knife.  L.W.
