The invasion is an act of war by Mexico. Close the border, salt a 5 mile wide band south of the border with radioactive cobalt and teach the invaders how to fly for the rest of their lives.

Close the border and we might starve to death Either that or the price of honest labor here would go up due to not being artificially suppressed due to illegals here and cheap imports and child labor from across the border. Sounds like a win. Higher wages for the working class and less need for government subsidies.

At this time I'd like see only 2 US military actions across the border.
First would be security for the builders to finish the wall.
Second, an armed escort for our cargo planes dropping leaflets in multiple language that the illegal entry into the US will no longer be tolerated & invaders will be dealt with harshly.

Sending uniformed troops across the border is considered an invasion. You sure you want to do that? Doesn't it make better sense to shut down our border and let the Mexican kill each other? Should have just annexed it a long time ago, along with Canada. After the Mexican American War we had the whole country, but gave most of it back. Things sure would be different had we just kept what we paid for in blood.
Pershing 1A. No city too big, no populated area too small. We even get the roaches.

Maybe we should just go throw our druggies into the ocean. The problem is the demand, not the supply. The problems is not the demand. The problem is artificially high prices. The problem is our version of the cartels (various law enforcement agencies) incentivized to keep prices high and thus profit from enforcement. The only way to take out the cartels is to take the money away. Step one would be to incarcerate addicts in work / education / treatment camps. Let them learn how to weld, code, plumb or whatever while in intensive treatment. Fund it sufficiently to do it right. Keep recovering addicts on piss tests for 10 years after treatment, recidivism means more, longer, camp time. Step two is to kill the dealers. Literally. Capital punishment for dealing, first offense. If you are arrested for using and don't rat out your dealer, we'll assume you were the dealer. Take away the money, and both the Mexican cartels and US cartel equivalents will dry up and go away. If you think the politicians that get money from the cartels is going to give it up without a hell of a fight you ain't thinking.

Late every Friday night the Walmart near me is busy doing international money transfers and the people paying for those money transfers appear to be Hispanic. Close the border. Summary execution for anyone caught bringing drugs into the U.S. Drone strikes on the drug cartels. Seal and Delta Force conduct live fire exercises inside of Mexico. Senator John Kennedy from LA has said that he believes that Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is owned by the drug cartels. The problem is that a lot of food and consumer products that we buy are hencho en Mexico, We don't need Mexico. Mexico needs us like it needs oxygen. Yes, part of what I meant about closing the border down was cutting off the $$$'s from going south. That would be a one handed choke hold on Mexico. A lot of money goes south every Thursday and Friday afternoon and evening. And yes again, I don't doubt for one second that Obrador is owned by the cartels.

Stop the flow of wetbacks and drugs going north, and the money going south. The schidt will hit the fan for a short time, and most of the bad actors will die. Things should settle down pretty nicely in about six months or so.
