I must have been living under a rock. Picked one of these up last week on a whim as a cheap suppressor host and woods gun. Wow, what a fun pistol! Ran a couple hundred rounds thru it without a single bobble and accuracy was more than acceptable. It runs better than my MKiv or Buckmark.
Really having fun with this $250 pistol. 20 oz with a Sico Sparrow and 13-16 round capacity; doesn't get better as a trail gun IMHO. Never thought I could love a Taurus.

On the same topic. Anyone have a good way to holster this thing with a suppressor? I'm not talking CC, just want to holster on a woods walk or while on a tractor. There are some crazy tactical solutions but I'm thinking a simple yaqui style or maybe even modified nylon cheapie. The kydex style I've found won't accept the can.

Friend of mine uses an open bottom style belt slide holster. Muzzle and can just sticks out the bottom.

That pistol has a pretty solid reputation for reliability. It's probably the best bang for the buck out there in a semi-auto 22.

I have a full size model and it's definitely been reliable.

Big congrats, buddy. I have the full size tx22 and it’s an absolute wonderful gun, but you have to know the limitations of a rimfire round like 22LR. they notoriously have misfires and don’t do massive amounts of damage. Yes, I can put all 17 rounds in a target’s head at 10 yards but I shouldn’t have to do a mag dump to neutralize an assailant. With 9mm, a few well placed rounds is all you need. Get. tx22 for plinking, fun, and practice.
