I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on an 1886 repop. I think I'm pretty settled on basic specifications as far as barrel and shape goes. Crescent vs shotgun buttplate can be worked around as well.

I'd prefer a Browning or a Pedersoli. My plan is to install a vernier sight so I think Miroku/Wincesters are off the list. I realize I'd still have to d&t a Browning.

Please respond via pm or offer advice and opinions here. Shaking the bushes to see what falls out.
