We can pump our own, but I still frequent a station where several cute young ladies dash out and do it all including windshield washing and oil checks. There's usually some cookies or donuts on the counter too if one gets there in the AM.

Drop half a dozen of them in their tracks from a few hundred yards away with a subsonic bullet from a suppressed rifle, and it just might take the fun out of the game. No, the cops don't need to get involved at all. If a 450 grain hard cast at 900 FPS from a .45-70 could drop a bison, a raghead protestor shouldn't be much of a problem. Lob them in from a roof top 3 blocks away.

Outstanding! Portland the last time I had to go through that bastion of blithering idiocy really went out of it's way to unimpress me. The skuzz that was holding people up to pump their gas wanted $10. for this service. I had no idea being up from Texas on my way to Washington state that I wasn't supposed to pump my own gas, told this fool to fuq off. He went inside and called the cops! Ended up pumping my own gas AND giving the skuzz $10. No other fine levied. No cute young ladies in evidence.

How was the skuzz able to call the cops while he was spitting out a mouthful of broken teeth?

I was feeling civilized at the time.

That's why the cane I use after nearly losing a foot in a a motorcycle wreck has over a pound of bullet casting lead poured into the tip. Makes a good attitude adjuster!

He came up to me and sort of squeezed between me and the pump, he stunk bad. Then he sticks his hand out and says for ten bucks I'll pump your gas. I said I'll pump it myself and he says that's illegal! Not believing him I start reading the signs posted and sure enough it appears I have to let this riverbottom bum or someone else pump my gas. Before the tank is full a cop pulls up. And out comes Skuzz. There was an automatic bias against Texas up front. I asked what kind of certification does skuzz get to pump my gas. The cop says it could be anybody just not me. This set my buddy off. Jimmy is not one to take BS lightly. Well it was funnier when we got across the Colombia river. In fact on the way back after prospecting in some creeks we followed the river on the Washington side to Umatilla. No reason to ever visit Portland again.
