A friend of mine passed away and his wife is wanting to sell this shotgun. What is your estimate on value?
‘91 870 exp - 12ga Rem pump sgun exp
This is in the original box. I am not sure if it was even put together to shoot.
Opinions please.

I listed mine locally for $350 (excellent condition, but no box) and haven't gotten any interest so far, but closer to hunting season they may sell easier.

My guess is maybe 300 even with box. The express are basic guns, still great function though.

I know in Ga you can't hardly give away a 28 inch 870 but 26s do ok and 21s and 24s are gold. $300 in this economy is about right I guess.

A couple of details needed...plastic stock or wood...wood stock is stained birch or laminated, brown laminated or grey laminated?
Black synthetic furniture and 26" or 28" barrel.....$250-$325
Brown laminated furniture and 26" or 28".....$275-$350
Grey Laminated furniture and 26" or 28".....$300-$400
ADD $50 or so for shorter, 21" or 23" barrel
If condition is as you say, unused
