As a former helicopter crew chief, we did a lot of work just for every one hour of flight time for the pilots. I can imagine what it's like to try to keep those jets in the air.

For liberals and anarchists, power and control is opium, selling envy is the fastest and easiest way to get it. TRR. American conservative. Never trust a white liberal. Malcom X Current NRA member.
How many pebbles in an intake, loose hydraulic hoses, or cut wires would it take to make those F-16 drones they're building unable to launch? If they were ever turned against American citizens the maintainers would turn them into scrap metal- - - - -no matter how many attack orders the rainbow warrior top brass issued! An E-3 alert pad security guard with a screw loose at a USAF base where I was stationed grounded three nuke loaded B-52s by throwing rocks deep into the intakes before somebody caught him.

The video had a few things out of sequence. Once the engine/s were shut down the aircraft grounding wires were installed, the landing gear downlock pins were put in place and pitot/sensor cover were installed. While that was being done someone serviced the engine oil. I'd discuss the issues with the flight crew to get a brief synopsis of the issues and see if I needed to put on extra fuel in case I had to run engines, the crew would go to a formal debriefing at maintenance job control who would schedule the specialist required to resolve any issues that weren't under my purview during flight. We'd then refuel the aircraft, once that was done we'd do the BPO (basic post flight) inspection which inspecting the engine/s for FOD is a part of. They kind of glossed over the preflight/launch duty which had a lot more sense of urgency involved.
“Maintainers” aren’t just for aircraft, Munitions troops are essential or the planes are “just another unscheduled airline”.
Those AirForce AMMO troops are the toughest SOBs in the Military, in the elements 24/7/365, all over the planet, separated from main base. Most especially the ones humping cans of 20mm in each hand all day.
