Really hate to let this one go as I have it set up exactly like an open sight woods rifle should be, but home improvements don’t pay for themselves.
Early 1980s very rare 18.5” barrel Marlin 336 “Texan” 30-30. It is in very good condition and very slick. It has the following upgrades.
-Wild West trigger
-Metal follower with small indentions to accommodate the Hornady Leverevolution ammo
-Skinner front sight painted bright orange
-Lyman all steel receiver sight with twilight aperture
-1” Sinclair Montana 1” leather sling
-Marbles rear sight blank
-9 round ammo cuff
If has been sling swivel studs added obviously but installed correctly.
It is sighted in and ready to go using Federal 150 grain blue box ammo. It doesn’t get much better than this for a classic woods walking deer or bear rifle. The Lyman receiver and Skinner front sight is about the best sighting system you can get using open sights. The rifle carries like a dream. Just a few very small impressions in the wood. Metal is excellent.
$985’shipped from non ffl to ffl. If ffl to ffl required then add $25 or if gong to AK add $25 due to extra shipping costs.
