I've got a half tang canadian belt knife from him as well (half tang 10v). Really like it so far. Great quality and workmanship.

I saw that on the bladeforums thread referenced earlier. Did you happen to get dimensions? Blade length, overal length?

I like yours too Dave but that yardbird looks like a great game knife.

I got on the list for one in Magnacut. Sounds like it will be a while though

I'm not savvy on pictures unfortunately. So far I like the 10v quite a bit.

Glad you like the 10V. Does he do his own heat treat? Not many get full performance from the A11 grades. Nice to see more makers using them for sure.

Journeyman,

He does his own heat treating. When I talked with him he said he has taken a lot of queues from Phil as well as Shawn Houston. Sounds like he is in the right company if he wants to work with serious steel and thin grinds.

Hope to find out for myself sometime

Thanks for the heads up on this maker. I got on his build list for a knife via IG. I really like the shape of a couple of his.

It’s a great time to be searching for knife makers.

IG makes it easy for them to post.
Curse the algorithms, but it does show you similar stuff to what you are interested in.

I’ve followed several makers just be happenstance.
