After a ten year hiatus, I’ve been getting back into competitive shooting, shot my third match of the year yesterday. Managed to move up from third the last two matches to second in F-T/R.

Has the F-TR equipment changed much in 10 years?

Congratulations, that appears to be about a 6 1/2” 20 shot group at 600 yards. Not bad shooting.

Thanks!

Before I was shooting with a PRS style rig and it wasn’t much of a disadvantage. Now the bipods, rear bags and ancillary equipment are all much better. It seems like the bullets are also light years better. It was rare to see a clean back then. In F-Open, there were two cleans this time. The last two months, no cleans. I’m shooting scores right in the master level just south of high master. I’m looking forward to next month.

Thanks, yeah I shanked #13. A couple rounds I ended up upwind trying to stay ahead of the condition.

Other target was similar but was behind the wind the whole string. I didn’t get a screen grab of it before they cleared it because I was scoring for a guy on the other end of the line.

I heard yesterday that there will be a new "match director" software update available soon for the Shotmarkers that will make it easier to tabulate/sort the results. Not sure I'd want to eliminate hardcopy score cards just yet though.

One click down may have been a 199!!

You can down load info now on a "tar" file, open it in Excel and get some good information.

The hard part is having everybody save their scores in an organized fashion. Like M1-MAB for match one and my initials.

Yup, I realized that later. Gotta aim for the wider portion of the ten ring.

Nice shooting! Are you shooting juggies? Is that a barrel band in the pic...or is it some kinda new, funky fluting?...

NVM, I just saw your downrange vels. If those are accurate, those would be super fast juggies.

Thanks! I shoot 200.20X at 2635 fps. That is velcro for a mirage shield.
