/\ I will second that.
I am happy these rifles are attracting some of the younger crowd into the shooting community.
Most older guys like me won't buy one...and that will help keep the price reasonable for those youngsters!

Hell, one can put the word Tactical on about anything and there are idiots who will buy it.
Has any one missed the Bell and Howell Commercials, done by guys who are all decked out like they are with some sort of CIA tactical operations, and they are selling the Bell & Howell Tactical Flashlights for $20 or $29.995 for two ( "just pay extra shipping and handlining" ).
Bought a pack of underwear at Walmart a couple of months ago, they were different colors. Two were Black. I guess those are the tactical version of that style of Underwear....

In all fairness to cousinfugkers, there are some good uses for a tactical lever gun. When the sun sets and aggressive armadillos begin their nightly soiree of destruction, that's clearly a job for a tactical rimfire.

Not for me, but I don't get emotional about them. I imagine the video games have an influence on these "improvements" (grin), and the younger shooters who play the video games find them very cool. Just a guess from someone who's never played a video game. Well OK I confess, I did play Pong once back around 1979 or so. But that's about it. I like my classic Rossi R92,

I've been playing with this .45. I really like the setup and the co-witness. I know it's non-traditional on a lever in that Marlin has only done it for 130 years, but I'm working on getting a suppressor, which should be great with subsonic loads. I wanted a wood or laminated stock but getting a short-barrel that was factory threaded made me decide to go plastic. I'm really glad I did.

I bought this 336 new in 1976. I think I'll keep it as is. L.W.

I haven't read the chain, burt did anyone complain when everything was green for zombie killing?
Tactical levers may not be my deal, but someone mentioned ban states and it sells levers to the younger folks that get AR15 brain washed...
Side note: I teach firearms safety and the manuals from 2 revisions ago advised us to not propmote hammer cocking lever actions due to the accidents of the past... That language has been dropped now, but the price of new levers will kill themselves off.
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Tactical lever guns and scout rifles are useful for compliance in some states.
My nephew has a scout rifle for home defense/hunting in CA
