Well we were not able to call in any coyotes today but we still had fun. Lot of history on the stand. Not talking about the two old dudes laugh. Talking about the guns they were using. One is an 1864 smith carbine the other is a 1862 sharps carbine. The sharps was converted in 1868 to shoot cartridges. It's interesting to think of what those guns have done in there history.

They had short fat cartridges back then just not neck down into little bitty bullets. grin
