I need a magazine for a BSA pump 22 - I have emailed every place I could find including places in England. BSA is now owned by Gamo and seems to have lost their history and their desire to help with their old rifles. I did find a picture of the magazine on an English web site. It's a very odd magazine as it is angled more than most pistol mag's so maybe someone has seen one somewhere. The catch has two round pieces so I assume the magazine would have round holes on eachside of the back surface.

I am not sure how the moderators feel about plugging another site, but I would suggest asking in the British and .22 forums on gunboards.com

If you are not registered there, I could post it for you.

Signed up for gunboards and posted there - not much help there either. It's a very rare gun so the magazines will be almost non-exsistant especially in this country. Production was just over 1000 in 1923 only - possibly not even 1100 with probably very few comming to this country. My hope is someone may have a magazine and not know what it is until seeing the picture but with only 15 views few seem interested in this rarity. Another possiblity is that BSA used an exsiting magazine in this rifle and someone may recognize it but so far no help.

Well, we know BSA copied the Savage 1903 magazine (well, not so much know as made an educated deduction) for their 1903 War Office Miniature Pattern rifle, so its not inconceivable they "borrowed" the magazine from another pistol or rifle.

BTW, your best bet is cross-post to the British Gun Pub and .22 forums there.
