Just about the most tedious thing I've tried to finish. One slip and it can be ruined or need wood filler. The possibility of needing stitches is raised considerably with these little bastard chisels...

Hope I can get it finished without ruining it. There probably won't be another after this...

it didn't turn out so good. Maybe nowadays I have more patience to do stuff like that.

looking good so far . keep going and go slow .
and yes pistols are a pain . just as much work as a rifle but harder IMO becouse they are harder to mount up so as to work on.
I would much rather build rifles then work on pistols, any day of the week

x2. i did one rifle and two pistols back when i was around 17. i had zero patience and it showed.
