Case of beer (your choice) for information leading to return of my rig and/or arrest of the unmentionable(s) who stole it.

I was looking forward to getting it ready for elk hunting. Now Im stuck in a rental and confined to pavement. I feel like Ive been grounded.

Particulars:

Dark blue 1986 SR5 4Runner, light blue interior, mostly stock, with factory clinometer/altimeter cluster.

Black top with a ski rack mounted in the rain gutters.

I think the previous owner hit something and tore the front bumper off because its missing, and both front fenders are dented and show light rust. The truck looks kind of like its snarling.

Turn signals are present and work.

Tires are BF Goodrich, about the same size as stock (not oversized), and the front ones are about half-bald. Wheels are from a Toyota Tacoma.

Washington State tag is 014-SPK and Ive filed a report with the Seattle Police Department.

It's clear that whoever got my truck was a true hunting-rig connoisseur. But he/she needs a stretch in the joint to ponder a life of crime, and we're just the guys to give it to them.

thanks,

Okie John

I'll watch for it heading eastbound on I84. I'd love to catch 'em!

Got a call from the Snohomish County Sherriff's Department this weekend: they found it. I'll get up there on Monday and see how it looks.

Glad it was located. Too bad it wasn't still occupied at the time.
