I was doing some thinking about the ultimate coyote thumper. I was thinking a real fast twist 220 swift to shoot the hornady 40 grainers well over 4000fps in a Remington with a ti stock and shilen barrel what do you guys think? I was wondering if the 1-14 twist would stabilize the 40s

The 1-14" twist will stabilize 40s fine.
I would build it with an 8 twist, as it will also shoot 40s fine. The 8 twist will be much less specialized, as it will be able to shoot heavies if the mood strikes, or when the wind comes up and the ranges get long.

I was thinking 1-14 because I already have rifles that I use but. the way we hunt coyotes in iowa is completely different then other states they tend to be 300 or closer and running so If I can push that kinda velocity it should be a laser to 400

The 8 twist will shoot the 40s laser flat to 400, but won't be such a specialized use rifle. No sense in building a specialized, single use rifle when there is no downside to making it useful for multiple purposes. Multi-purpose guns get used much more than specialized ones.

My Dad shoots a 9 twist 220 Swift. 40s fly out at around 4200-4250. I had an 8 twist 22-6mm for a while. 40s shot fine in it as well.

8" 22-250 shoots 40's well under an inch here...

The terrible bc of the 35 would overcome any increase in speed it would gain over a 40.
FWIW, the 40 grain Ballistic Tip holds together better than the Vmax of that weight. I personally prefer the Ballistic Tip for coyotes.

You realize a REAL FAST isn't a 1-14" twist, right? A 1-14" twist is REAL SLOW.

220 swift or 22-250 with 8" twist.
at 4000FPS, "some" bullets won't make it to the target
They will just go "POOF" at 50yrds.
Gun Shows are almost as comical as boat ramps in the Spring.

Another vote for the 8" twist because it works.

They will just go "POOF" at 50yrds. Which bullets? Those designed for 22 Hornet speeds? The SPSX? The 40 grain Ballistic Tip and Vmax will handily stand up to 4300 fps in an 8 twist.

Yes, the SX's. The 45gr .224 Hornet
The 40gr BT and the Vmax, like you said have no problem @ 4000+fps
I just wanted to clarify in an open forum.
Gun Shows are almost as comical as boat ramps in the Spring.
