Great photography is not about being in the right place at the right time, it is about putting yourself in the right place at the right time.

I like the foggy contrast and composition. The small version seen here shows a little haloing around the bull, but it may not be present in your full file.

Thanks!
RR, yeah I see what you are saying.. I don't have much if any on the full version...
But I may tweak it a bit later... Just wanted to see what peoples opinion was. ;-)

Terrific photo.
One of my favorite animals.
Ragged, filthy, frothing, brute strength survivors of the Epochs.
Id like to hunt one from horseback in a crazy stampede.
...and they taste really good too.

Nice photo! I like the angle and atmosphere of the shot.
My favorite shots of bison are in the snow when they look all shaggy and snow covered. Cool animals.

I like the foggy contrast and composition. The small version seen here shows a little haloing around the bull, but it may not be present in your full file. Is that caused by the sensor being tricked by the contrast of the head vs the gray fog and creating a lighter zone?

IB, The thinner white halos on photos may be caused by oversharpening and/or web compression. These seem to be seen often with objects against the sky. A wider, foggy boundary can be caused by too much highlight/shadow recovery. When photographing the full moon against an evening sky, I have gotten a darker border around the moon.
