Anyone know about this one? I vaguely remember it as a mauser import from 40 years ago. BSA? Interarms?

Thanks for refreshing my memory - Looked up Parker-Hale in the Blue Book of Gun Values, and that seems to point to a Parker-Hale 1200 Super.

By the way, if anyone wants a P-H in 6mm Rem, I can lead them to the above pictured one (not mine). It's for sale locally for $300. Seems like a good candidate for rebarreling!

It is a good buy - I just don't like the old Mausers because of their weight, and the 6mm Rem is just enough of an oddball cartridge that I don't want to mess with it.

Wow, that's actually a pretty good deal. Nothing wrong with Parker Hales. I'd shoot it.

Good guns, underrated. I refinished the stock on this one for a friend, recut the checkering. It's a .300 WM and a good shooter. DF

If not a Parker, could be a BSA CF2.
edit IT's not a CF2 or a Monarch, stock is wrong.

I must love odd ball cartridges having had 6 6mm's. I still have two. I believe that the 6mm is the best varmint cartridge. (I also have a 256 WM, and a 350RM. And a few other odd balls. Is that 6mm Parker Hale as nice as yours? If so I'm very interested.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

It looks llike a PH 1200. I had one in 270, years ago.
Santa Barbara (Spanish) Mauser action. Solid performer.

Santa Barbara (Spanish) Mauser action. Solid performer. Well, I stand corrected on the E. Euro Mauser action... DF
