Depending on how they are made, flex. That is why "O" presses are generally preferred over "C" presses. Also, all else being equal, cast presses are less expensive to manufacture in volume once you amortize the mold cost. Machine tools like mills and lathes are manufactured with cast bodies but that is for vibration dampening so not a consideration with reloading presses unless you are a whole lot faster than I am.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

Thanks Blacktailer , I guess I can get by with the old 3 turret Lee since a 280ai and a 444marlin are the biggest cartridges I load for . Mostly neck size and shoulder bump when need be .

As to longevity I have an RCBS Rock Chucker I bought the first year of production. It was 1966 or 67. Have loaded 10's of thousands of rounds on it & it still loads perfectly. It was hard for me to dig up the money for it then but it has repaid me many times over. Quality is the least expensive over time.

I like my Lee Classic Cast... Got it after a Challenger broke. They sure aren't $75 or whatever anymore.
