Evidently he has deposed Sleepy Joe, is now President, and is giving a press conference from the White House. I was like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and turned the sound up for a couple of seconds and heard "responsible gun control" or some such and turned it off.

Matthew is a scatterbrained goofball who got infected with the Hollywood 'disease' of being self-important and relevant to current political issues. He is a trained speaker, but he is not educated on constitutional issues despite his earnestness. He should be embarrassed for himself, but that part of his humanity has been washed away by the accolades laid upon him.

Actors rarely have a passing relationship with reality. Reagan was one of the few exceptions but he really had a short stint in Hollywood. Mathew wouldn’t be my pick for any government position. He was courting running for governor but I hope he abandoned it.

Thinking that “common sense gun control” WhateverTF that is takes no intelligent thought because those that espouse such ignorance in the face of overwhelming term data are incapable of deep or intelligent thought. The data from the 1994 (or whatever year) assault weapons ban doesn’t bear out the facts to support their current attempt. It’s an emotional response that ignores the things that could actually contribute to real improvement. They can’t take their small minds off of the object.
