Very well done. I'm a big fan of "different" builds to meet a purpose. That would be near model perfect for where I deer hunt here in IN.

Looks like a very fun setup. Been sitting on a few thousand 7BR brass for a while may need to spin up a barrel. 125TNTs should shoot good.

CT - how's this rifle treating you? I'm thinking about a truck gun with suppressor for <100 yard shots. Quiet but with enough 'umph'. I assume this is quite quiet relative to other suppressed rigs? I am new to this sort of stuff, be gentle LOL.

Got a full plate today but I'll update first chance I get. Spoiler alert, I have enjoyed this rig more than any other to date.

Just picked up a ULA in 30BR, included dies but now I need to get my hands on some brass. I bought it with the intention of rebarelling to something else, maybe a 250 or 250ai. We'll see if the 30BR bug bites first.
ctsmith - you still liking yours?

CTS looks like a great rifle! Enjoy your new 30 BR!
I have had a 30 BR SA 700 in a Remington laminate with a 22" bull barrel and a timney trigger for around 20 years. It is my test bed for any scope that is suspect. Have helped sort out many of my friend's rifles with it.
I find it the most consistent and easiest to load of all my rifles.
I ordered a reamer with a longer throat to shoot heavier bullets. Twist is 1 in 10. It primarily shoots 168 target bullets. It can shoot up to 200 gr bullets if I so desire.
Sierra has load data for the 30 BR from 125 to 200 gr bullets in some of their older loading manuals.
I neck up Lapua 6 BR brass and turn the necks so I can use a RCBS FL die with sizer ball removed with a .001" neck diameter difference between empty and loaded.
The current load uses 33.5 grains of IMR 8208 XBR with 168 Hornady fed 205 primer vel 2490

Thanks for sharing your load data and brass prep process.
What are the best powders for the 30BR? How is accurate 2200?

Thanks so much for the load data. Seeing 4895 there makes me wonder if I could try TAC. Then again I may be able to find some LT-30. 4198 seems impossible to find these days.
No pics yet, didn't download any from the ad, rifle is on its way to me now. I'll be sure and post some. Think you might recognize it?
