You are getting ready to load up in a C-130 heading for the real shiit. You have a choice of either pistol and all the loaded mags you can carry. Which one would you choose?

. I have a 92A1 and a couple of P320 X-Five's They are both good pistols, but that P320 is such a nice shooter. And those 21rd mags. I'd grab the P320.

With those choices, hands down, the 92FS, preferably with the G Mod installed, converting the safety into a decocker only. I have both the M9 and the 92X Compact. Both shoot great, and both are decock only. When I'm going to have an auto pistol laying on the bed while I sleep, my pick is either of those. When suddenly awakened by a crashing door or window, I'm not sure I 100% trust myself to grab a Glock laying beside me without firing it simultaneously. That long double action first trigger pull is a comfort for a situation like that. Not a fan of the Sig M-17/P320. Had one and didn't like its handling characteristics.

Not a fan of the P320. I bought one as soon as they hit the market. First thing I did was shoot it side by side with my Glock 17 at the range. I could really feel a difference in recoil impulse, and immediately understood why. It's the high bore axis on the P320. Who needs it? I sold it for what I paid, because at that time, they were a very hot item, and hard to find.

Sig all day, every day. The trigger reach on the M9 is too long for me. I managed to qualify expert a few times with the Beretta, but shoot the Sig much better.

I have both of them and I was thinking about selling one because I'm so pistol heavy right now. But I like the Sig to much and I have had the 92FS for too many years. I better just hold on to both of them.

For myself, I'd choose the Beretta because I have shot it a lot and shoot it well. My IDPA gun for the past three years has been a 92G and it has not failed me at all, in any way, in matches or practice. Not saying it's better than the Sig (I have a couple of other models of Sigs), just saying it's what I know and trust.
When my son was in the business of getting on C-130's and other A/C and going into the real [bleep], kicking doors and such in middle-eastern schitholes, he had the option of several handguns to supplement his primary arms. He always carried a 92.

I prefer the Sig P320 which is what I shoot in IDPA etc. I used to have a Beretta 92 but don't anymore. Beretta 92's are solid guns, but I prefer the consistent trigger pull of striker fired guns. I used to shoot Glocks in competition but am really liking the Sig P320 X5 Legion. They are heavy and thus have less recoil than Glocks which makes for faster splits between shots.

Both of my Berettas sport the D hammer spring, too, which makes the double action pull real light on that first shot.

I’m a huge Sig fan, but between these two I would pick the Beretta. I have always loved the ergonomics of the Beretta and it feels natural in my hand. The 320 with the high bore axis just feels cumbersome to me. Beretta vs P226/229, that’s a different story!

Sig P226 MK 25 is preferred
Never liked the Beretta l-personal preference

Also note that the lighter weight M17 allows you to carry more ammunition for the same weight

92. Hands down. I've got 2 M9's. Don't care for the 320.

The 92. I’m very familiar with the M9. There are a couple of things I don’t love about the M17, but no deal breakers. I’m not nearly as familiar with the Sig.

If your hand fits the 92, then between the two, I'd take the 92.
I love Sig's but the 320 is not necessarily a favorite; try the 226 & the 229 Legion version..............best triggers available in DA/SA out of the box & worth the extra money.
