We all recognize the climate change agenda is not about climate, it’s one means to an end , that being total control and destruction of the free enterprise system and ultimately the American republic.
Someone mentioned taxes, that’s another means. Watch for more talk of the wealth tax in addition to flat out raising tax rates ie raise long term capital gains tax to 44.6 % , as Biden recently floated.

Congress is long past the time they were concerned about raising taxes to fund some scheme they come up with. The amount of money raised by taxes is irrelevant now. They simply create the money they spend. They raise taxes and implement new taxes to destroy the middle class and bankrupt the nation.

The sad thing about this is that there is some climate change going on and a lot of it is beneficial. Like rain in the arid west U.S. and even in Arabia. The CO2 or something is making the world greener.
