Spent the last couple weekends cutting up and hauling and burning winter blowdown trees and limbs.
And of course if you have a slash burn, you gotta watch it and drink a beer or two.

Damp drive this morning. Mildly frustrating to put out a bunch of feed only to watch the dumb cows tromp it in the mud. The smart cows, now they'll stand and eat but those dumb ones...

I had to move one like that one time (it was a Bucyrus) that was broke down for good…..we were doing the reclamation on the pit and it was in the way…. Took 2 D10’s pulling and a D11 pushing…. Had to stick a pin in the tracks and lock one up to steer it….. crazy how big they are…. When you have to lift the dozer on an 11 and you can barely touch the counterweight 😳….. wish I took more pictures back then.
