A Pre64 M70 fwt in a great classic walnut stock.
Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

My head gets turned by a number of rifles, for different reasons:
Winchester 1885 Stevens 44 1/2 Shiloh 1874 sporting rifle #1 Marlin 39A with receiver sight. Savage 99EG
several others.
Depends on my mood. Keep them simple with classic lines, and understated. I don't lust for fancy walnut or engraving, just nicely proportioned straight grained stuff. I'll take the fiddle back maple on my flinters.

1950 M70 Supergrade. New in box. Can't bear to shoot it. It's flawless in my mind. It can only go down from there.

A Pre64 M70 fwt in a great classic walnut stock. Not much doubt there....I'd add about any pre 64 M70 or reworked M98 Mauser with a good metal job,and stocked in French by a top end maker like Fisher,Goens, etc in the Classic style. The Mausers particularly are really good looking done right. Even some synthetic-stocked rifles are good looking, and among contemporary stuff no one makes a sharper looking Rem 700 than Carl Kampfeld IMO.And some of the paint jobs from McMillan and others are nice looking in a contemporary sort of way.....
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

In a factory rifle...I'd say Ruger #1-S Medium Sporter.. Other than factory....something that says "Rigby" on it and has a bolt sticking out the side... Ingwe

These, plus the ones that Forrest B, and TC1 (Terry) have made. The center rifle was made by Maurice Ottmar, and the bottom rifle is a Bob Owen.

I almost said a double rifle but the Ruger #1-A or maybe the RSI are light weight things of beauty...

Custom Ruger #1's are particularly easy on the eyes, IMO
