Hi - I'm now ina position to try some bass fishing at Clear Lake, which is supposed to be pretty famous for it. In Texas, where I grew up, the bass start getting active in mid-to-late February, with the spawn full blown in March.

Any offers some tips as to when I should try it in Clear Lake? Can I expect to see some action in late Feb? Locations, and lures?

Also, depending on where you are located geographically, don't overlook the Delta. One of the best black bass fisheries in the world.
