Just another thread of old fuggs hating everything.
Move along.
LOL! I was reading along thinking the same thing. So basically most of the people posting in this thread could just simplify things and say "If it has musical notes, involves musical instruments or anyone singing I hate it." LOL!

So why are you posting in/on this thread? I will simply say, GFY.
I don't have any bands or artists because if I don't like the music, I don't listen. So I never learn the name of the musicians. I hate Rap and I can't stand Jazz. You might have noticed that I didn't refer to them as music.
Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.

... and said in a very nasty tone "That's E Flat Major please!"
What an absolute dick. Never thought much of him since.
I have a friend who was/is a first call sax player in the PNW. When RC would come to town this buddy of mine would get the call. He said RC was very difficult. Well, those aren't the words he used exactly...
It's been said Mr. Zappa was rather picky about professionalism in the folks who worked for him too.
There's a good reason Vinnie Colaiuta played good stretches with Zappa, Jeff Beck, Sting, etc
LD, Check out his playing with Herbie Hancock
as I remember, his name was dropped in Catholic Girls

He's literally the guy who would show up with a guitar at college parties to try to get laid. Somehow he made a career out of it.

You almost describe me. I could easily go the rest of my life without hearing music. I love being outside in the natural world or in a factory. The sound of people working, making a good living for their family is a great sound to me. But the sounds you hear while hunting or fishing are the best. I hear music at work because others play it. I would almost never play music voluntarily.
