Good stuff Stetson. I'm a complete klutz when it comes to bread, something I'd like to remedy.
Give this a try or google the Bittman Lahay bread. The NY times ran their recipe and it is very good. That and the recipes I have posted here are about as easy as it gets. Any lidded cast iron pot works fine. Once you try this you won't be buying bread any more.
